SMTP Impostor, an SMTP server for developers
A fake, testable SMTP server for developers
This is version 2 of the SMTP Server for Developers
Features v2.0
- Fake - will not actually send e-mails, no risk of accidentally e-mailing a client then
- Testable - you can create the server in code, then test your e-mailing functions and check the server to confirm they have been sent
- Configurable - you can add as many hosts as you want listening on different ports
- Expendable - you can write you own message storage, perhaps to store in a database

Once installed the application will check for new versions on close down
This is called ClickOnce by Microsoft
The source is available now at ssfd.codeplex.com
What's Next v2.1+
A windows service, so you can install it on a server and view the contents on an other machine
